Dear Petrea / administrator in charge, I have been a member of this Blog for a while now and must say it is a very good one. I work as a Primary Care Physician in Ireland, which is beset with financial problems due to the recession. I retrained and settled her , after spending some years training to be a surgeon in the UK, and hoping to move to the US or Australia eventually , but meeting and marrying the woman I loved, who was Irish, changed plans :>). Anyway, I see a lot of people in our practice with terminal illnesses like cancer, and in fact a relative was recenbtly diagnosed here with cancer in his throat and is under going radiotherapy and chemotherapy post-surgery. I would love to read your book ` Sometimes hearts must break` if I could. I know the prcie is just 24 dollars, but due to falling income here for practices, the need to spend money for CME ( continuing medical education by attending conferences, courses , buying medical books etc) I am unable to buy non medical books. I have asked for, and recieved books by Dr Robert Maurer ( one small step), Breene Brown ( the power of vulnerability) Elishs Bernstein ( The Now effect) Carol Kinsey Goman ( body language, how to spot liars at work) etc etc for a small library I am building up of good books. In retrun I mention them and their books and Blogs on 2-3 exclusive, closed sites for doctors in the UK, US, Ireland and India that I visit regularly. Good publicity to an audience of highly educated and skilled professionals for the price of a book. I had already put up the video ` Is the pursuit of happiness making us miserable` from youtube on a couple of these sites and it was very well liked indeed. So, if you feel its a good win-win deal benefitting both of us, I would be grateful for a copy of the book ` Sometimes hearts have to break` and I shall mention it as a good review of the doctors sites I visit. A used book in good nick is ok and does not have to be a new copy. If you feel its a dud deal, thats ok too, and I shall still keep reading the posts etc, so you wont be losing a member on the blog :>) Best wishes,

Murali
